Prof. Dr. Kai Ambos is the co-executive and book review editor of the Criminal Law Forum (CLF), a journal published quarterly by Springer. The CLF is the Official Journal of the Society for the Reform of Criminal Law, based in Vancouver, British Columbia. It is a peer reviewed journal dedicated to the advancement of criminal law theory, practice, and reform throughout the world. Under the direction of an international editorial board headed by William A. Schabas as editor-in-chief, the CLF serves the global community of criminal law scholars and practitioners through its publication of original contributions and the dissemination of noteworthy public documents. 

As book review editor, Prof. Dr. Kai Ambos is responsible for the selections of books to be reviewed in the CLF and the recruitment of reviewers. Reviewers may concentrate on one book or discuss several books dealing with the same subject in one collective review.
